Training Programs with Barista Champions

Ecco takes its training mission very seriously and utilizes the talent of both US and International barista champions to instruct your staff. Coffee is an agricultural product, and like all fruits and vegetables, it has a time when it is in season. Ecco Caffe is committed to offering coffees when they are fresh from harvest and at the peak of their flavor. In the November 16th edition of the New York Times, Jonathan Rubinstein, the owner of Joe and an Ecco customer, discussed our seasonal approach to coffee. "Seasonality is such a new idea in coffee. You're not going to go to the farmers' market to get an apple in spring, or if there is one it's been stored for a long time. Now we're not going to have a Panamanian coffee except for when it's in season. To think of coffee in those same terms is really cool. It digs into a whole new layer."
